To review the month of June we discussed how to keep moving in your life is always a good thing. I suggested the top 10 ways to get moving in your world. What have you done out of that list? Maybe you have started to take stand up paddle boarding? Or you’ve gotten into hiking for the summer?
I also shared about being in Ottawa for the annual telethon for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. My parents are I were on the telethon volunteering our time to answer phones and take donations from callers. We were there as well for another reason. I presented a cheque for $3,216 for the Neonate Intensive Care Unit. Moving forward, even back then, inch by inch I grew strong and big enough to go home. I even discussed how moving forward towards dreams takes practice, persistence, and never giving up. June is actually a great time to look at your dreams/goals for the year. As June is half way through the year.
June most of the time means sunny weather, and that means for many getting outside. Get moving outside, get out of the gym and get moving outdoors!
I shared what I like to do, and I enjoy being outside, hiking, or walking in the community. Tomorrow I am actually going hiking to a place that I have only heard about, never been. Johnston’s Creek near Banff, Alberta!
So what are doing in June to get moving? To continue to be active, have fun and enjoy being YOU?
Do something that you enjoy, or stretch outside your comfort zone even. Attempt a new activity.
